Two San Francisco Parishes Participate in the 2006 Gay Pride Parade

This video shows 8 minutes of sexually explicit and pornographic behavior exhibited at the Gay Pride Parade June 2005 and 2006 in San Francisco. Public nudity and licentious behavior, although still illegal, is nothing new for the homosexual community in San Francisco.

In attendance at the Gay Pride Parade were two San Francisco Catholic parishes - Most Holy Redeemer and St. Agnes. We urge everyone to protest the presence of these parishes in the Gay Pride Parade. Click here to view the video including the participation of these two parishes (including footage of the pastor of St. Agnes, Rev. J. Cameron Ayers, S.J., marching in the parade and Most Holy Redeemer's booth in Leather Alley). Fr. Cameron's email is cameron@saintagnessf.com. The pastor at Most Holy Redeemer is Rev. Stephen Meriwether (he is also the chancellor of the Archdiocese of San Francisco). His email address is smeriwether@mhr.org or meriwethers@sfarchdiocese.org.

You can see pictures of Most Holy Redeemer Parish participation here. Some of the more distrubing pictures are below from the preparations for the 2006 Gay Pride Parade.

Blessing the gay pride parade contingent.
